November 20-28: In Poland, Warsaw, the lecturer of the ERIICTA International Relations faculty Ms. Mariana Budaghyan, as the only representative from the Republic of Armenia, was granted a scholarship from the European Academy of Diplomacy of Central Europe to attend a special workshop designed to give diplomatic, civil servants and academia professors a greater capacity for understanding and influencing EU foreign policy and decision making. The lectures include topics such as media, leadership, lobbying and diplomatic protocols in the EU, international negotiations, public speaking and diplomacy in the EU, Eastern Partnership Diplomatic Relations and EU integration, business and humanitarian cooperation perspectives with the EU. Ms. Budaghyan represented Armenia on the international platform of participant delegations from 13 Central European and former Soviet Union countries, Azerbaijan and Taiwan.

 

December the 8-9: In Aghveran, Armenia the Dean of the ERIICTA International Relations faculty Mr. Hovhannes  Hovhannisyan and the fourth  year student of the same faculty Nune Maghakyan participated in seminar entitled “The Participation of Students in the Management of Higher Education”. This seminar was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, European Council and the European Union of Students. Dean Hovhannisyan and the promising student Nune actively took part in the discussions presenting the participants how ERIICTA students partake in the management process of higher education.

 

December 19-23: In Kiev, the Ukraine, the Head of International relations faculty Mr. Hovhannes Aleksanyan attended an international conference jointly organized by the Eastern Studies University of the Ukrainian Academy of Science in Kiev entitled “The Ukraine and the East: historical and cultural relations”. In the special section of the reports called “the Armenian-Ukrainian relations and Armenians in the Ukraine” Mr. Alexanyan delivered a report entitled “Armenians in the Crimea during the soviet years”. His report will be published in the scientific journal of the Eastern Studies University of the Ukrainian Academy of Science.
