Armenian Robots Open Championship’s “Mine searching robot” competition consisted of several rounds. The last round took place in 2010 - June 2, in Yerevan in Lovers Park.
The problem was proposed, to find a certain amount of buried mines in the ground floored territory. Winner was a robot made by the “Eriicta” team. It was the only self-controlled system working robot out of nine robots. The work had been done from 01.03.2010 to 02.06.2010. Awards granting ceremony took place on 10.06.2010 in Marriott hotel complex during the Digitec Business 2010 closing ceremony.
